The Splendour of Dresden - walking the historic cobblestone

I was raised in Dresden and I have been working as a local guide for many years, for many different groups and interesting personalities. So, on this sightseeing stroll through the historic Old Town of Dresden I do not only make you familiar with the most impressive sights but first of all I will let you know the spirit of my hometown. I want to awake your curiosity for the city of Dresden that had risen like phoenix bird from the ashes- the city that is a gem and had been hidden behind the iron curtain for so many years. Walk from the world famous Zwinger Palace along the Semper Opera House passing by the Cathedral and the Dresden Residential Palace. I'll provide the historic background. And further on - my whole tour is completed by photographies taken by my parents before and after the war. The highlight of the tour - the pride of our city- is the reconstructed Frauenkirche, a symbol of reconciliation and peace in the world.
