On this two day tour, we'll see the most of what historical Berlin has to offer. We'll start at your chosen pickup point. Depending on where that is, we drive Oranienburg first to visit the concentration camp 'KZ-Sachsenhausen'. After which we can head back to Berlin to visit the Alternative side of Berlin or we drive to the Site of the Wannsee Conference. Along the route to our next stop, we have lunch. Back into Berlin, we see as much as we can in the remaining hours we have. Due to my extensive experience, the route can be completely flexible. The second day we do what we didn't have time for plus the Reichstag. The tour is intended to provide a good feel of Berlin and it's Jewish history as well as see the highlights. You can move the focus at leisure don't limit yourself to the standard itinerary.
- We'll meet and together drive to the KZ lager Sachsenhausen we visit the camp for 60-90 minutes. - After this visit, we'll need a moment to collect ourselves, driving to the next stop we make a lunch stop. - At the Wannsee site we visit the beautiful villa where the Nazi Bureaucracy decided, in the winter of '42 what the "Final Solution' will be. OR -We drive to the boroughs of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg to show you what Berlin really is like. The nightlife, hidden places and the Eastside gallery. Back to Berlin for the following Stops: - Berlin Wall - Brandenburg Gate, - Holocaust Memorial - Hitler's bunker, - Checkpoint 'Charlie' Day Two: - Hackesche Höfe, - Scheune Viertel (Jewish area) - The 'New' synagogue (1866). - The Reichstag (subject to availability) Don't forget to inform me of any special dietary needs or wishes so I can in-or exclude them.
