This exciting tour starts at the world-renowned Adlon Hotel and takes you past many of the buildings that form the basis of the "New Berlin", through the government district, including the Chancellery, the Reichstag, the Holocaust Memorial, and ends at the Brandenburg Gate. It is the ideal tour for all those who want to get a quick overview of some of Berlin's main sights and landmarks by also getting a glimpse to what degree Berlin has changed over the course of the past 30 years since the fall of the Wall. Learn, how this whole area has changed radically since the fall of The Wall and get a first-hand account of what it looked like before! - We will start admiring the world renowned Adlon Hotel with its rich history. Learn all about the buildings on Pariser Platz that have been built since reunification and those that stood there years ago until their destruction as bombs rained down on Berlin during the war that Nazi-Germany had started. - Next is Brandenburg Gate, Germany's most important landmark. On this tour, you'll find out why! - See government buildings that have been built in the past 20 years and hear all about the Federal Chancellery and other parliamentary buildings such as the Reichstag with its rich and troubled history. It is a focal point during this tour as is the Holocaust Memorial, whose design, rich in symbolism and significance will be explained in detail. - We continue along the Linden Blvd. with its fabulous buildings and structures, some of which going back to the 17th century -The tour ends at Museum Island, a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site of great importance.
