Potsdam used to be a royal residency of Prussia and Germany as well as of the Great Elector from the 17th century. This tour will give a comprehensive picture of history, politics, as well as military affairs. Potsdam is one of Germany's most beautiful cities. We will visit Sanssouci Palace and its park and have a look at the New Palace where Germany's last emperor, William II. , used to spend his summers. Moreover, we will visit Cecilienhof Palace, where the Potsdam Conference took place in summer 1945. Other highlights will be a walk in Potsdam's historical city center, the Dutch Quarter, and the Alexandrowka. You will also never forget that you will have passed the Glienicker Brücke ("Bridge of Spies"). Please, note: Sanssouci Palace is closed on Mondays. The New Palace is closed on Tuesdays. Cecilienhof Palace is closed until 2027 (renovation).
