Berlin is as expansive as it is amazing, and so there's no better way to explore it than on bike! Join me on a ride through the entirety of Berlin: not only will we see the normal city center (covered on most walking tours), but we will also get to see both the EAST and the WEST, including several parks, lakes, and segments of the Berlin Wall. We'll even stop at the city's most delicious (and well priced) Beer Garden. All this will will be completed in nearly the same amount of time as a walking tour. Talk about German efficiency!
- We will begin in the old Prussian Capital's Museum Island. - We explore the medieval roots, the Old Jewish Quarter, the German Imperial Center. - We ride to through the Nazi Administrative Zone, to the Holocaust Memorials, then Tiergarten Park. - Our gorgeous ride through the park will take us past a delicious beer garden (optional, but suggested), to the Reichstag. - We will then continue on the Berlin Wall path to a piece of the Wall, and will further explore the twentieth history along the beautiful Spree River. In all, we will cover over ten miles of Berlin and over 750 years of history! Sights: Nicholai Quarter; Brandenburg Gate; Jewish Quarter; Holocaust Memorial; Tiergarten Park; Museum Island; Babelplatz; Gendarmenmarkt; Checkpoint Charlie; Berlin Wall; Unter den Linden; the Reichstag.
