A glimpse of Baden-Baden: a half-day private walking tour

Enjoy a journey through the different epochs and feel like a roman emperor or a king on his summer holiday. Find out why the Romans once called this city "Aquae". Baden-Baden is a cultural metropolis, surrounded by wild nature. The city was founded almost 2000 years ago by the romans. In the 17th Century a great fire destroyed the entire city. Baden-Baden was rebuilt and gambling was introduced, so the city evolved quickly to the summer capital of Europe, where kings and emperors enjoyed their summers. I was born and raised here in the Black Forest area, only a stone's throw away from Baden-Baden. During our tour we'll discover the unique "belle époque" architecture and we'll follow the roman footprints to the old bath ruins. We'll stop at a thermal water fountain and you can feel the warm water bubbling out of the stones. I'll fill the tour with personal anecdotes and tell you the stories behind the scenes.
