Breathtaking beauty of Caucasus mountains were described by many famous people throughout history. Poets, artists, travelers and mountaineers were crossing the narrow passage of Dariali looking for inspiration, writing poems and painting, more than 5000 meter high, snowy peek of the mount Kazbeg. This particular part of Georgia's one of the highest regions is well known for it's historical monuments, untouched nature, alpine fields, fast rivers, waterfalls, ravines, gorges and valleys. One can explore it in many different ways. On foot or by car, on a horse or on a raft following mountain river Aragvi. Or maybe even paragliding if one dares. First thing I did returning back from burning sands of Damascus, where I used to study, I asked mu friend to take me to the mountains. He had a house in village Arsha. We arrived pretty late and never had a chance to eat on the way. Luckily we where met by his grandma who was cooking the one and only, real, caucasian, steamy "khinkali", beauty of Georgian cuisine.
