Borjomi Private Tour

For our first outdoor adventure me and some other students have chosen hiking trail in Borjomi national park. we have started early in the morning and blazing through deep snow managed to reach ranger's cabin by the evening. We where exhausted, hungry and cold, regretting our decision until . . . We saw the endless evergreen forest forest. Borjomi is well known mineral water from Georgia and it's story starts in a small resort town with a same name. From ancient times up to XVIII century the endless forests were favorite hunting grounds for Georgian and Russian royal family members. The town is located almost in the heart of the biggest national parks in Georgia. It's got curative mineral and sulfur springs, beautiful parks, comfortable hotels and lots of guest houses. In ten minutes drive from town is Green monastery - IX century basilica with a tragic history. To get to it's gate one must pass through the tunnel of trees.
