Experience the best of French history and culture with this full-day tour of Versailles and the Louvre, led by an expert art historian. This tour takes you from the opulence of the Palace of Versailles to the world-renowned art collection of the Louvre, all in one day! We'll start the day with a private tour of the Palace of Versailles, where you'll discover the stunning architecture, lavish furnishings, the famous Hall of Mirrors, the King's and Queen's Apartments, and the tranquility of the fountains and gardens... Next, we'll head to the Louvre, where you'll have a private highlights tour of the world's biggest museum in the world Discover masterpieces from the ancient world to modern times, including the Mona Lisa, Victory of Samothrace, and many more. I will help you navigate this vast museum, and do my best to show you the evolution of art through the centuries! Of course a private transportation is included :)
- Pick up from your hotel to Versailles. - Visit of the Palace of Versailles (the State Apartments, including the King's Bedchamber, the Queen's Bedchamber, and the Hall of Mirrors, and many more…) - Explore the gardens of Versailles, Break for lunch at a local restaurant (I will give you all my suggestions :) - Arrive at the Louvre - Highlights of the museum - End the tour and return to your hotel in Paris (As your tour guide, I am happy to customize the tour to suit your interests, whether it be spending more time at a particular site or including additional stops. I am also open to creating a completely customized tour tailored to your specific interests and preferences!)
