Bonjour! My name is Julien. I'm a Parisian (or maybe I should say a suburban Parisian but don't tell anyone please. . . ) and I love my city. I love how cosmopolitan is Paris and I love its architecture and its museums. To learn about Paris is an endless book. Maybe because there was something about Arts running into my veins already when I was born as (several generations of Architects in my family), I became very interested in Arts from a young age. I could spend hours trying to copy the Mona Lisa. . . Then another passion emerged: learning about other cultures and languages after my first exchange with a Spaniard when I was a teenager. This was the first time I understood how big was the world and how different could be the cultures. This enhanced my interest in learning languages and took me abroad for studies and work experiences in UK, Spain, Mexico. After teaching Spanish for eight years I thought that being a guide would be the most pleasant way to share my two passions, languages and arts with people. And now you can find me at the Louvre, on City Island, Marais or other places, unveiling the stories and secrets of the paintings at the Louvre and monuments of Paris and tasting a piece of cheese or a macaron! So join me on one of my tours and feel free to ask for a customized tour if you have a special interest. I really like to create new tours and tailor tours to people's interests.
