We all know the Louvre might be intense and overwhelming, but the tour is designed to be fun and accessible to everyone! The Louvre is the biggest and the most famous Museum in the World. The building itself has over 800 years of history and it contains over 35. 000 pieces of art. Let's embark together this journey through its unparalleled collection of art which goes from 4000 BC until the 1848. Did you know the Louvre is home of three Divas? The Venus of Milo, The Winged Victory of Samothrace and of course Mona Lisa. Our three celebrities will be the core of the visit, however along the tour we will also learn about the history of the building (it used to be a royal palace), other highlights as well as some hidden gems which are less known, but not of minor interest & beauty.
Our meeting point is just a few steps from the most visited Museum in the world. We are going to access the Louvre with our reserved entry time tickets, and once inside we are going to take a closer look to the magnificent architecture and history of the Glass Pyramid. Afterwards we are going to focus on the following sections: - Medieval Louvre; with a step back to discover the history of the building itself - Roman & Greek Sculptures (including Venus of Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace) - Italian Paintings (Veronese, Giotto, Mona LIsa and other Leonardo's) - French Paintings (Napoleon's Coronation, Liberty Leading People and Raft of Medusa) - Italian Sculptures (Michelangelo's Slaves and Cupid & Psiche by Canova) The program above it is only a suggestion; however this tour is private and can be customised according to your request and needs. Make sure to communicate with me in case of any request.
