Riviera's Medieval Villages - Half Day

Welcome to my tour of the picturesque villages of Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence in the French Riviera. As your guide, I will take you through these charming medieval towns, showing you the best spots and helping you capture the best panoramic views in your photos. Our first stop is Eze, a hilltop village that offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. We'll wander through the narrow, cobblestone streets and see the picturesque stone buildings. At the Fragonard perfume factory, you can learn about the history and process of perfume-making and even sample some of the scents. Next, we'll head to Saint-Paul de Vence, known for its beautiful stone buildings and art galleries. The village has, in his recent history, inspired many famous artists, including Chagall and Matisse, and we'll see some of their works. We'll also enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside. We'll see the famous Renaissance-era bastioned walls. Will we observe these impressive fortifications and imagine the battles that took place.
