As a kid, I grew up between Paris and Buenos Aires, my two favorite activities were : videogame arcade and taking the subway. I always have been fascinated by the world under our feet. The gate to reach this world are the famous Hector Guimard's subway entry. At 30 Years old I moved to Berlin, when I came back to Paris I literally fell in love with those Subway's entry and I decided to explore ALL the buildings with this amazing architecture! My tour is a "best of" and a sum up of all my wandering.

Art Nouveau is a kind of architecture that wasn't appreciated by everybody. Some people in this time called Art Nouveau "noodle style". The most famous building is "Le Castel Béranger", people hated it and called "Le castel Dérangé" (=crazy).

Created in 1878 by Eugène Viollet Leduc, the huge collection of life- size plaster casts, presents a travel through 9 centuries of architecture's history.
From Moissac abbaye to Notre Dame de Paris, the galerie of the first floor invite to the exploration of most well known civil and religious monuments in France.

The Parisian passages are iconic and unavoidable places for those who want to discover Paris. Since the end of the French Revolution, these arches are at the origin of modern commercial galleries, the actual shopping malls! Very numerous in the 19th century, there are only a few that the curious traveler can not avoid.

I love to go there: it is usually calm and beautiful, and it's like being in a time machine. . .
