Tour of the Bordeaux wine merchants' district

It's well known that the city of Bordeaux became one of the most important territories in the kingdom thanks to its wine trade! Over the centuries, new districts were created to make room for large barrel cellars, and the port was divided so that the largest foreign ships could come and take on supplies, while the smaller ships, staying upstream, could deliver their supplies from the hinterland as well. Discover the ancient little town of Chartrons, how the most influential families lived through the centuries, and the conditions under which wine was kept!
