Graves and Sauternes Private Wine Tour - an authentic taste of Bordeaux's most famous châteaux

Visit and taste wines at three contrasting châteaux with chance to lunch in between at a local restaurant where we'll rub shoulders with the Bordeaux world of wine! or in the grounds of a private park of a château where the family will be present. This region with its historical châteaux not far from Bordeaux is the birthplace of claret wine - the red wine of Bordeaux. In this wooded beautiful region, we will also sample some of the best white wines made from the aromatic Sauvignon and the rich Semillon. We will end the day discovering the mysteries of the 'noble rot' and taste a range of these sweet wines which can live for 100 years. This off the beaten track day is great fun and will surely show you the behind scenes at some famous properties but also some family wines to discover in one of my favorite wine regions.
