This tour offers you the possibility of visiting 2 majors historical places in two days: the DDay beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel. Visiting the DDay landing beaches is often a humbling experience. Whether you are coming to pay respect to those who gave all, or to follow the footsteps of a relative, this day tour will give you the chance to explore and better understand what happen of this meaningful day of June 6th, 1944. For this day, you can choose to visit the DDay beaches from the US, British or Canadian perspective. Mont-Saint-Michel is undoubtedly the most famous monument in Normandy. The 1000-years-old abbey church is standing high on its rock, contemplating the largest bay in Europe with one of the biggest tide in the world ! A spectacular place where history and nature offers their most breathtaking display.
Day 1: 9am: departure from your accommodation to the DDay beaches You can choose to visit either the US, British or Canadians beaches. 6pm: return at your accommodation Day 2: 9am: departure for Mont-Saint-Michel (90 minutes of driving) 11. 30am: entrance in the Abbey 1. 30pm: lunch and free time inside the village 5pm: arrival at your accommodation
