Pastis workshop and distillery tour

Come and visit a craftsman’s distillery of south of France local beverage. Come for a walk on a hill to dee what plants are used to add in Pastis, Then enjoy a tasting of organic pastis and syrups accompanied by a platter of regional goat’s and ewe’s milk cheeses. First, follow us on a botanical walk along a wide path accessible to sporty strollers and all terrain wheelchairs. In the heart of the garrigue (scrublands), on the Montaiguet hill, come and admire the panoramic view of Mont Sainte-Victoire, Sainte-Baume mountain range, the Roquefavour aqueduct and the Chaîne de l’Etoile hills. Discover and identify the plants used to distil pastis : calament mint, thyme, rosemary and bay tree sauce. Then take part in a workshop at the GARAGAI pastis distillery and learn to make your own pastis. The liquorist will tell you about the distillation and maceration process. The icing on the cake is a tasting of cheese, home-made syrups and pastis.
