Come with me on this 5-hour tour, by car and on foot, where we will discover the amazing and rich history of Tallinn and Estonia. From the paganism and Crusades, through the golden era of Baltic trade all the way to the birth and the Estonian Republic. This tour aims to cover these monumental events in an interesting and easy to understand way. My goal is to share the history of my home town with you. This tour is not aimed solely at passionate history buffs, but anyone interested in finding out more about Estonian history and culture.
We are going to meet at agreed location and then we'll visit the following places: - Catherine's Valley Park - Song Festival grounds - Soviet era neighborhood of Lasnamäe - Pirita Marina along with Olympic Village - the cathedrals of Toompea Hill - Panoramic viewpoint in the Upper Town - St Olaf's Church - the Three Sisters - the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads - guild halls of the Lower Town - Town Hall Pharmacy - Town Hall and Town Hall square * There will be some time for having coffee and cake.
