Luxor and Mummification museums in a half day tour

Luxor museum is one of the most well designed and organised museums in Egypt. It was established in 1975 to present the new discoveries in the area during the excavations. The museum is located between the temples of Luxor and Karnak. Mummification Museum houses Pharaonic relics from Luxor and the nearby sites. Recently inaugurated is the visitors center in Luxor. It is the only one of its kind in the world. It houses 150 relics of mummies, coffins, the mummification tools the ancient Egyptian physician used, and paintings representing the religious funerary rituals and the ancient Egyptian belief of the final judgment.
