Close to Quito city we find this amazing site: The Cloud Forest. This is a tour design for every nature lover, families looking for some adventure and people that want to get immerse in nature. This tour will be designed according to your interest. And we have several options of activities to do during this day. Among some of the activities and highlights we will find: The best hummingbird garden, a butterfly farm and a artisanal chocolate factory. The other activities to chose from are: the orchid garden, visit the waterfalls, cable car crossing the forest, zip lines and visiting feeders to see the birds of the area. We will do as many activities as our time permits. This tour is designed for 3 people but if you are coming on a group please request the price for the tour using a bigger vehicle.
We will depart from Quito in the morning after pick you up at your hotel. We drive northwest and along the way we will admire the impressive change of vegetation and weather until we reach the Cloud Forest. On our way to Mindo town we can do a stop in one of the best hummingbird gardens in the country. We continue towards the town where we will have the chance to go on different activities to chose from: a butterfly farm, an orchid garden, ziplining, chocolate tour, coffee tour, nature hikes, waterfalls and more. We will have a delicious lunch in between activities (in the town) and we will try to cover as many as we can in our time available for the tour. This (and any other) tour can be customized upon request according to the clients interest. Ex: We can have the whole day hiking the cloudforest reserves or just enjoy time visiting some really nice sites in the cloud forest closer to Quito than Mindo town. We will return back to Quito
