Join me for a relaxing walking tour of the fishing village of Gilleleje. You will - among other things - hear the important story of how the local residents and fishermen got together and saved the lives of over one thousand Danish Jews during World War 2. But you'll also hear about how this charming town has changed over its long history, from a small fishing village to a bustling town that explodes with visitors who want to experience its charm every summer. I live here and love its connection to the sea, and all it has to offer, and I love to show my guests the local shops, cafes, old houses and harbour.
Gilleleje Train Station - The main town square - The fishing harbour - The streets in the old town - Outside of the Gilleleje Church Please note that, like all Tours by Locals tours, this tour is customisable. A lunch or coffee break is not included in the tour, but If you would to include a break, please contact me. You can contact me by using the orange "message guide" button to discuss things with me.
