Kutna Hora and the Ossuary - an out of town trip from Prague - up to 6 people

The former mining town of Kutna Hora is approximately one hours drive northeast of Prague. Due to the large finds of silver in the 12th and 13th century, the town prospered throughout the ages and beautiful sights, such as the cathedral of St. Barbara or the Italian Court, were built. We will drive through the countryside to Kutná Hora. Here you visit the mentioned gothic cathedral of St. Barbara, then to the Italian Court where the royal mint was situated and the "Prague Groschen", a coin widely accepted throughout Europe, was minted. Then we continue to the village of Sedlec, a suburb of Kutna Hora, which offers the famous "Ossuary", a church decorated with the bones of 40, 000 people, victims of the 30 year war (1618-1648) as well as the "black death", the bubonic plague. The decorations give the church a very "unusual" flair. If you like, we can also do wine tasting here. The regional wines are excellent and well known.
