The Spa town of Karlovy Vary was the place to be for kings, empereurs, politicians, intellectuals, writers, composers, opera singers who wanted to make politic and socialize. Today, visitors and patients from all over the world still enjoy the beneficial effects of the hot springs which mineral water is mostly consumed with the traditional siping cup by walking. The name of Karlovy Vary is also connected with the International Film Festival organized every year in July, the famous Cristalworks Moser, the Thun Porcelain, the Becherovka Digestive, the Kolonada Spa Wafers and the Mattoni bottled mineral drinking water. Feel like a prominent strolling along the Tepla river !
- We will depart by car from Prague early in the morning. - Then, in Karlovy Vary, we will stroll along the Tepla river. - We will admire picturesque facades, historical colonnades where the mineral hot water springs up, impressive Spa and Hotel buildings, like the Grand Pupp or the Imperial proudly dominating the city from the top of the hill. The surroundings offer beautiful panoramas. An option could be the funicular ride to the look out tower, or the visit of the Moser's Glassworks.
