It's always been my goal, to introduce my guests to my island and its people, so after a lot of thinking, and taking into consideration cruise ships limited time at port, I've put together an excursion full of culture and nature (It's what makes up life, right?). We leave Limassol port and head straight to the mountains, passing villages and lakes along the way. Our first stop is an ancient Venetian bridge which is a Unesco world site. We can go on this piece of history or paddle in the water running below. The excursion continues on off-road through dense pine forests onto a secluded waterfall in the heart of the mountains. We then proceed to a beautiful mountain village where we can enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze meal in the local tavern, stroll along the pebbled streets, visit the local winery for tasting (no extra fee) or just sit back and have a coffee amongst the locals.
