Discover with me the town of Larnaca and its surroundings! Cyprus's earliest human settlement spans back to over 10000 ( New stone age) so let's start our day with a visit to the largest/oldest Neolithic village: Chirokitia. Next, let's continue northeast to the charming protected village of Lefkara. Get back to the motorway and drive to Larnaca. There, we shall enjoy a walk and a snack(?) along the idyllic palm tree-lined boulevard and beach, then have a look into the oldest Byzantine imposing Cathedral of Saint Lazarus. We'll also visit the recently renovated stunning archaeological museum. On the way back, in the village of Kiti there stands the Church of Panagia Angeloktisti(=Angel-built) containing some of the oldest and finest religious wall mosaics.
