Explore Larnaca and its surroundings

The tour offers a fascinating insight into the culture and architecture of the great city. We begin by passing the palm-lined seaside promenade with colonial buildings and pass by the medieval castle. We continue our tour to St. Lazarus Church 890 AD the most important Byzantine monument surviving in Cyprus. We will then drive to the Halan Sultan Tekke Mosque framed with palm and cypress trees. The mosque is the most important Muslim sanctuary in Cyprus next to the salt lake where from December to April is full of Flamingos and other migratory birds. We also visit the Larnaca aqueduct. We also visit the village of Lefkara one of the most beautiful villages in the island. We return to Larnaca to our starting point. * Participants are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, light clothes during the summer months.
