Greetings from Croatia's tasteful capital! It will be a pleasure to meet you and greet you, and...

Jewish heritage in Zagreb is a significant one, be it for the number of beautiful elegant buildings from the early 20th century, or be it for the famous citizens that left their important traces and legacies. My favorite is a story of the Franck family and the establishment of a famous coffee brand in Zagreb! I can't wait to see you and tell you more. Panoramic sightseeing through Zagreb's Lower part will give you aclear idea of the city. Further, we will visit the monumental cemetery - Mirogoj, with a focus on the Jewish part. Stunning Neo-Renaissance arcades hide the masterpieces of famous sculptors, no wonder many compare it to Paris cemetery. Later, we shall set off for the walking tour - it encompasses the most prominent parts of Zagreb - two almost separate medieval settlements, Gradec and Kaptol. I will be happy to share the legends and tales of Old Zagreb with you! Visit to the Jewish Museum at the Jewish Community of Zagreb is subject to prior approval. The Community hosts Zagreb's Synagogue.
The tour is designed so you won't miss any of the famous sites, but I can customize the tour to fit your wishes. I added a visit to the Jewish part of cemetery Mirogoj and the visit to Jewish Museum at Jewish Community of Zagreb (subject to prior approval and availability at the Community). •Downtown Zagreb/panoramic drive passes by Croatian National Theatre, Croatian National Library, Botanical gardens etc •45 minutes visit of the famous sculptural cemetery Mirogoj/ visit of Jewish part of the cemetery •Walk through the main square Trg Bana Jelačića •Take a ride on Funicular •Photo stop at St. Catherine's square •Stop at the Museum of Broken Relationships •Photo stop at St. Mark's Square St. Mark's church (outside) •Pass by The Parliament building •Walk through the Stone Gate •Walk throughTkalčićeva Street •Visit to the market "Dolac" •A glimpse of Zagreb's Cathedral (from the distance during renovation) •Delicious coffee break is included
