Families' Favorite Tour in La Fortuna

Slow like no other animal, the smiley-looking sloth is one of Costa Rica's national animals and certainly a "rainforest celebrity". There are many fascinating things to learn about the "perezosos" and their habitat, but for now just let me tell you that if you like avocados then you should thank sloths ;) The first part of our tour will be a leisure rainforest hike looking primarily for sloths, besides, chances are to spot other beautiful animals as well, such as, toucans, lizards, owls, agoutis and more. Then, we will learn everything about the so-called "Food of God". The cacao seeds, (once Costa Rican native people's former currency) will be dried and roasted to perfection before your eyes so you get to see the whole process from cacao fruit to bar. To top it off you will have the chance to create your own chocolate with the ingredients you like the most :P
