Papagayo Four Seasons to Explore ecotourism...

Let's visit a transition forest which is located 23 km northwest from the city of Liberia, between the provinces of Guanacaste and Alajuela.

On this tour, we'll walk around 2 miles by the National Park trails that'll take us in a loop around the volcanic activity at display, from mud pots, boiling water pools and gases. We may also come across white faced, spider ; howler monkeys, tapirs, birds and more amazing species of fauna and flora, as well as seeing a stationary waterfall.

We'll be going on an moderated hike for 2 or up to 3 hours along wide trails that'll make you feel safe at all times. Besides that, we'll visit the lovely town of Curubande where we'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, before reaching Rio Blanco where the fresh water and beautiful nature will relax you and make you feel like you're daydreaming.

A popular legend was born in in my city Liberia, about how the volcano got its name due to a Curubanda daughter of the shift Curubande. I'll share this legend with you during our lunch!

Rincon de la Vieja volcano Private adventure

Rincon de la Vieja is an active volcano, located on the Guanacaste mountain range, is popular for being one of the few volcanos with several steaming vents and boiling mud pools in Costa Rica.
You will be pick up at any location in the Guanacaste area, the average driving time is 1 to 2 hours depending on where you staying we'll walk las pailas trail for about 3 kilometers looking for wildlife such as birds and monkeys.
You will be walking in a secondary rainforest surrounded by streams and several fumaroles, the trail is easy to walk however there are some steps along the way, after the hike in the national park we will drive for about 20 minutes to a place where a delicious typical lunch will be served and then you will be allowed to visit 5 thermal pools and put volcanic mud on you. this is an excellent option to visit a rainforest not too far from the beach in the north pacific side.

On this tour, I'll take your through a transition forest located 15 km northwest from Liberia city, to the little town of Curubande which hides a wonderful waterfall called La Leona, by Rio Blanco.

We'll walk and swim amidst magical blue water natural pools, going river up in a moderated hike, enjoying a place mostly only locals are even aware of. Going across the forest we might spot monkeys, birds , insects and big rock walls along the river, unveiling spots just a local tour guide could show you.

I was working in a local eco farm beside the river an know the best way to have fun around it! Besides taking you to the waterfall, we'll visit *The White City* (Liberia) and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
