Jewelry Making Tour

Jewelry Making tour is a complete experience to learn how to make silver jewelry with Colombian emeralds, besides to know about its mining and transforming. With a "hands on" class, our apprentices will feel how is made a piece of jewelry, developing creativity and bringing back the school memories. Attendees will be guided within the Emerald museum by a real miner chatacter, here they will learn about emeralds, the magic, history relevance and scientific characteristics of this colombian gemstone. With actual size replicas will experience being in a real emerald tunnel and watch the emerald bearing veins and miners at work with the carts used to the take out the gravels and emerald-reach soil. There are also hundred of emeralds with weird formations and shapes from all over Colombian mines as well as from other localities throughout the World
