Let's enjoy our tour together by eating some of the freshest and tastiest produce in the world! I have been giving tours in Beijing for over 10 years and I know some of the best orchards just outside of Beijing. Over the centuries Beijing has sometimes been referred to as "The Kingdom of Fruit". There is much fruit produced locally in the countryside around Beijing and across the different seasons. For example, at the end of February and throughout March is the season of the strawberry. Cherries are very popular in May and June. Later in the summer is the season for grapes, watermelon, peaches, apples, and plums. Autumn brings us chestnuts, walnuts, persimmons and dates. We don't guarantee that you can pick fruit during your visit, because it is season dependent, but I will let you know before you book the tour. This tour combines the World famous sites with fruit picking. Think how much fun it will be to experience the local organic food while traveling to The Great Wall!
