In central chile we talk in terms of "valleys" closed and surrounded by mountains. That's because we don't have just the andes mountain range but also, the coastal mountain range. So , for example, Santiago city is located in Maipo's Valley (another wine region [red wine]) and heading to the coast from Santiago you pass from maipo valley to curacavi valley and then to Casablanca Valley.  Just at 60 km from maipo. But with a different weather.  More fresh and with more humidity because is next to the coast.

in this case we gonna take the route call highway of the sun, the first stop will be in a small location call san pedro where we are going to see the cormorant, segals , sarapito, curlew, pilpílen etc.
