An easy day walks to La Campana, a place that was described in 1834 by Charles Darwin as "a unique place in this part of the world". We will enjoy this interesting ecenery once we left the city behind. the first part of the trip has a nice view of the Andes Mountains to your right hang and on the left side we can see part of the coastal range where we will see the top of La Campana Hill. when the day is clear we can see Aconcagua mountain from the route. Aconcagua is the higest mountain in the southern hemisphere even though this one belong to Argentina the location has a perfect view from the central zone of chile. something that I really enjoy in the morning is the typical countryside breakfast because This place has homemade bread, free range chicken eggs. our hiking will take two and a half hours to get to the waterfall which is the spot for your deserved picnic. in the way back to your hotel we will drive taking the panamerican highway with a technical stop in a gas station to stretch the legs.
We will take the panamerican Highway from santiago and after one hour driving north direction we will make a stop to have breakfast in the countryside with homemade bread in a small town then we will spend one hour more to get to the park and after to arrive we will start our hiking in La Campana National park. it will take two and a half hours to get to the place where we can take a rest and also to enjoy the picnic. in the way we can see some bird and small foxes. we will use walking sticks and also recommend suitable clothing for hiking.
