Walk the streets of Saint John , the Loyalist City, the Oldest Incorporated city in Canada. These are the same streets that the famous Benedict Arnold once walked on. . . We will begin our tour on the historical Prince William Street. We will see the Three Sister's Lamp, The Irish Celtic Cross Monument, Historical Architecture, Fascinating Gargoyles carved in sandstone with a unique story. We'll then proceed to King Street and visit Barbour's General Store, and the famous Wood Sculptures of John Hooper. Our walk will continue through through King Square to the Imperial Theatre and the Fireman's Museum(fee) to Loyalist Burial Ground and back towards the City Market which is a historical building of food and local souvenirs. note: A visit to the Jewish Museum (fee required) and Stone Church (donation requested) are optional sites we may include at your request. We will now head towards your original departure to finish or you may stay in the uptown area to explore on your own.
The tour would be approx. 2 hours. A walk around the downtown areas of Saint John. Start from the ship around the lower part of the city -- back to the ship.
