We all love stories, don't we? Let me share with you the fascinating tale of the only walled city north of Mexico during our 2½-hour walk through the charming streets of Old Québec. Together we'll explore how early settlers faced harsh winters and forged alliances, how their resilience shaped this fortress city, and witness its journey to becoming today's vibrant cultural gem. I'll introduce you to captivating local characters—from visionary Samuel de Champlain who founded the settlement in 1608, to determined Québécois who preserved their unique language and traditions through centuries of challenges. You'll hear how ordinary citizens experienced extraordinary moments: surviving the British siege that changed North America's destiny, navigating cultural revolutions, and crafting the distinctive identity that makes Québec City special today.
-Samuel-De Champlain Monument: Meet the founder of Quebec and hear how it all began in 1608. -UNESCO Monument: Discover why Old Quebec is a World Heritage treasure. -Château Frontenac: Snap a photo of the most iconic hotel in the world and hear royal stories. -Porte Saint-Louis: Walk through historic city gates and learn about battles and defenses. -Cathedral of the Holy Trinity: Visit the first Anglican cathedral outside the British Isles. -Chapelle des Ursulines: Peek into the oldest convent and hear stories of New France’s educators. -Montmorency Park: Enjoy panoramic views and tales of politics and power. -Place Royale: Stand where Quebec was founded—cobblestones, murals, and rich history. -Petit-Champlain: Wander magical streets filled with art, shops, and charm. -The Sugar Shack: Taste maple taffy and explore sweet Quebec traditions.

This is a walking-only adventure, with the entire route explored on foot within the compact Old Quebec area. The walking pace is leisurely with frequent stops, making the total distance manageable for most visitors (comfortable walking shoes are recommended). For your convenience and enjoyment, we may use the funicular (a charming cable car) to travel between Upper and Lower Town.
