'' I have no reply for your general other than by the mouths of my cannons and muskets '' Frontenac famously rebuffed the English envoy sent on land in Quebec in the fall of 1690. The most photographed hotel in Canada was named after him on the site of the St-Louis castle. We will see the Royal Battery, walk along the ramparts, visit the Cathedral Notre-Dame, City Hall and much more. As we walk along and go back in time during the New France era and the British period, you will see and hear about the events that shaped the city to its modern unique character and have a better understanding of the pride we take in our European roots. The tour ends on Petit Champlain, the most charming area of the city with its cobblestone streets and French architecture. Quaint and charming restaurants now surround Royal Place where everything began in 1608. At the end of our tour, I will give you my exclusive list of restaurant recommendations.
On this tour, we will see - Dufferin Terrace - Wolf and Montcalm monument - St. Louis Gate - The city's Fortifications - Old Seminary - Notre Dame Cathedral and Anglican Holy Trinity - Montmorency Park - Petit Champlain - Royal Place - Royal Battery - Little Champlain street All my tours can be customized upon request
