This is an optional tour, routes as in the description. This is for a school group of over 50 persons. Guide is to accompany on vehicle provided by school group.
Options 1: Drive down to Point Pleasant Park, up Young Ave to the public gardens, Citadel Hill and visit inside then go to Fort Needham on the Halifax Explosion, then Fairview Cemetery for the Titanic. Out to York Redoubt for a wonderful view of the Harbour and Herring Cove, and Peggy's Cove. Option 2: Visit Public Gardens, Camp Hill Cemetery, Citadel Hill, Fairview Cemetery, Fort Needham then go to Fisherman's Cove for lunch- it is a great spot with a marsh walking trail and if you want to drive further there is Railway Museum- and Martinique Beach- [URL blocked] do all this would fill up your day. You will need 1.5 hours for lunch and the ship could arrive late.
