Charlottetown & South Shore

This tour leaves Charlottetown and travels to the south side of the Island to historic Fort Amherst, overlooking the Northumberland Strait and Governor's Island. From here we travel along the scenic route of Canoe Cove, Argyle Shore, stopping in the unique scenic fishing village of Victoria By the Sea, where there are many lovely shops and restaurants overlooking the water. We then travel to Borden-Carleton to the world famous Confederation Bridge, the longest all weather bridge in the world, 12 klms long. From here we travel to the City of Summerside, the Town of Kensington, the scenic French River and Stanley Bridge as well as the home of Lucy Maud Montgomery's home of Anne of Green Gables and the delightful Island Preserves restaurant, gift shop and tranquil Butterfly House. A fall tour also offers plenty of opportunity to capture our typical red dirt roads with a canopy of colorful leaves, a dream for photographers and nature lovers.
