The Waza park is the most equipped and visited park. You can visit from November to June. August to September is not favorable . The ideal to see wildlife day long is November to February and March to June. The parks are found in the North Regions of Cameroon. The population are mostly Moslems and their culture is observed through the Fantasia of the Chief called Lamido during important celebrations, their specific habitat of rounded structures known as the Saré and the Mousgoum, with a unique dressing style. This zone is characterized by the tropical climate and the Savanna vegetation which influence the richness of the area in wildlife, reasons for the many National parks in this part of the Country. So, in the parks, you shall be fascinated with many different wildlife species such as Buffalos, Antelopes, Monkeys, warthogs, crocodiles, birds like, ostrich, grey herons, vultures, hawk, eagles, guinea fowl, Giant eland, dozens of elephants, giraffes, lions, Buffon kobs, waterbucks, hyenas, . . . .
