The History of Rio Walking Tour

In the morning we will visit: Royal Portuguese Reading Cabinet, São Francisco de Paula Church, Santo Antônio Convent, Carioca. Let's have lunch at a traditional restaurant in Cinelândia that has excellent service and excellent food! (it´s not included) In the afternoon, continuing our walking tour, we will make an internal visit to the wonderful Theatro Muncipal, getting to know not only in detail its imposing interior, but also environments that many of its visitors have never been to. Next we go to Paço Imperial, the royal family's first address upon their arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Also, very close by, we go to Chafariz do Valentim, one of the main artists of colonial Brazil, having worked as a sculptor, carver and urban planner in Rio de Janeiro. If all this wasn't already enough, let's pass by Arco do Teles and learn about the famous story of the circle of children who were abandoned by their mothers.
