President Figueiredo is a small town located 107 km north of Manaus, the newest, founded in 1981. This place is considered the waterfalls paradise due to hundreds of rapids, waterfalls, and different and curious ancient rock formations spread in its area. Figueiredo, how the locals call it, is being considered a refuge for those looking for nature and an escape from the city's stress. On weekends, many people take their cars and drive to this amazing place. This tour takes all day, starting early in the morning at the most convenient time for you, and intends to show you a little bit of the Amazon formation and visit some of those beautiful waterfalls. You must be ready for short jungle walking. Bring swimming suits and towels. Once you are going to a bathing place, do not forget also sunblock lotion, sunglasses, you can wear light clothes and comfortable shoes, hats or caps are recommended to bring too.
