Puerto Iguazu is the gateway to the Iguazú Falls in the Argentinean Iguazú National Park.

The magnificent Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, are made up of 275 waterfalls that fall from the most diverse heights. The highest, 80 meters, is known as the Devil's Throat.

The falls run along cliffs and islets, distributed in a crescent shape that forms this geographical feature. You can choose to hike though the trails, opt for a picturesque jungle train or take an exciting boat close to the falls.

Here you can find half of the bird species registered in the Argentine territory and the greatest diversity of orchids in the country.

Let me guide you through the amazing forest with its unique wildlife and get ready to be speechless by the Iguassu falls from different angles.

The Iguassu Falls are considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the Nature and are located between Brazil (Foz do Iguaçu) and Argentina (Puerto Iguazu).

From the Brazil side, we walk approx. 1. 2 km or 0. 7 miles, from where we'll have a Full Panoramic View of the Falls.

At the Argentinean side, we'll have longer walks (approx. 8 km or 4 miles) through the jungle with more possibilities to see wildlife, in order to get in different trails that will allow us to see parts of the Falls from a much closer perspective. By walking on the top of the Falls we'll be able to walk three different trails, known as Devil's Throat, Upper, and Lower.

This is considered my favorite tour, as most tourists prefer this type of package including two days of tours. It is enough time to appreciate both sides of the falls.

The dam is considered the largest electricity generator in the world and the second largest in size. That's a binacional powerplant divided between Brazil and Paraguay. Here, you have two options of tours:

- The panoramic tour is done by bus outside of the dam, with 3 stops for appreciation and take photos.

- The special tour is done by minibus and includes the outside visit (like the panoramic) and an inside visit, where the visitors can see the structure and turbines. * This one can't be visited by children under 12 years old.

This tour is for people that have two days available. It is the best option to have time for everything without rushing.

If people arrive at the airport at midday, there is time to visit the Brazilian side of the falls on the arrival day. One can go visiting the Argentinean side on the second day, it is longer, and one needs more time for it.

Feel free also to shift the days of the tours according to the arrival and departing times. I don't mind to pick-up people at the airport like at 7:00 a. m.

Our tour will take around 4 hours, however it is very common to take more time if you choose to do some optional tours.

The Brazilian side will give you a panoramic view of all the waterfalls, being able to get a little wet when entering the trail of Devil's Throat, where you will be very close to the main fall that is approximately 82 meters high.

For some people this is the most beautiful side of the Falls and my favorite too, because only on the Brazilian side can we see and understand the real size of the falls.

A Day at the Brazilian Iguassu Falls

On this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit Iguazu Falls from the Argentinean side.

Iguazu Falls hold the title of the largest set of waterfalls in the world and also is considered one of the 7 Wonders of Nature. It's located between the territories of Brasil (Foz do Iguaçu) and Argentina (Puerto Iguazu). On the Argentinean side, the walk is of approximately 5. 000 meters, divided into 2 different circuits called lower and upper circuit.

In this moment, we don't have access to the Devil's Throat circuit because it's closed to rebuild the trail after damages that happened last year because of a huge rain. The prevision this trail to be open again is around July, 2024.
