The tour can be done in two ways: We can visit the lower part of the National Park Serra do Cipó. The tour requires a higher level of endurance (trekking of 16 km). The final part descends to a pool and a beautiful waterfall. After the hike we will enjoy a delicious meal of typical food. Or we can visit a local waterfall, outside of the National Park, called Cachoeira Grande. We will walk just 01 km and enjoy the Cipó river and the beautiful landscape. Serra do Cipó National Park is internationally known by researchers and nature lovers, because its unique biodiversity and perfect climate for trekking and outdoor activities. I love to show our visitor the local way of living, especially local culture and food. Until today there are Quilombo communities, founded by people of African origin, in this historical area.
