Brugge and Gent, 1 day highlights

Brugge and Gent will take you back in their turbulent history of more than a 1000 years. Brugge is a nearly untouched medieval city with fantastic architecture and art [and chocolate shops [;-)] along romantic canals and picturesque cobblestone streets. The entire centre is Unesco World Heritage. Gent was and is still an important harbour. It kept its historical centre with its impressive medieval buildings; several of them are Unesco World Heritage. Gent is famous for its vue of the 3 medieval towers and of course the polyptych 'the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb' by Jan van Eyck (1432)'; Brugge for Michelangelo's Madonna (1504). In Brugge we'll admire amongst others the buildings at the Market Square, the Belfort, the Burg, Town Hall, the Holy Blood Chapel, the Brugse Reien.
