Antwerp from Brussels 1/2 day

We'll meet at one of the Brussels railway stations. Once in Anwerp we'll admire the (old part of) the Belle Epoque Central station, the 16th century palaces at the Meir boulevard, several 19th century splendid façades, Art Déco buildings and of course modern architecture. Visit possible of the 16th century Rubens House - now fully renovated -. At the former central grave yard of the city - now an animated square - we access the formidable cathedral for a look into the interior. At the Market Square we'll be impressed by the 16th century Town Hall and so many historical gables. Here we'll see the famous statue of Brabo and the defeated giant. We'll pass by a chocolat atelier and the Diamand Museum on our way to the river Schelde, the Cruise Terminal and the castle Steen. From there we'll walk to the ultramodern MAS. From the panoramic terrace one has a splendid view of the whole city! A walk through 5 centuries!
