Grand Bahama Settlement & Cultural Tour

Tour the settlements of Pinder's Point, Lewis Yard, Hunters, and McTown on the south shore of Freeport, on the Grand Bahama Island. This tour will give you a good opportunity to enjoy true Bahamian hospitality! A Freeport Grand Bahama island tour that gives you much of the city of Freeport including the downtown area. There is an opportunity to visit a Junkanoo Shack where costumes and made and stored until the next parade on January 1st. There are surronding settlements of Smith's Point where you can visit the fish fry capital of Grand Bahama. Fish Fry is normally on Wednesday evening. You may see a dolphin or two as their sanctuary is near by in the canal, William's & Russell Town is a small area with a good beach view. Hunters, Lewis Yard and Pinder's Point are along the southern shore. There is the historic St. Vincent De Paul Church in Hunters, The Mermaid Pond in Lewis Yard and the Lighthouse in Pinder's Point along with the oil terminal and Freeport Harbour.
