The Blue Mountains is a World Heritage listed national park. The area is named for the blue haze let off from its dense cover of eucalyptus trees. In clear weather we try and stop at a very magical lookout where you will get your first glimpse of the rock formations and flora that form the Blue Mountains region. Then its off to visit Scenic World at Katoomba where we experience some of the more popular Blue Mountains attractions. We offer you a complete experience at Scenic World which entails going across the valley on the Scenic Skyway and then descending into the temperate rainforest on the Scenic Cableway. We do a short boardwalk through the rainforest area and then travel back up to the top via the steepest incline in the world… the Scenic Railway. We visit the quaint town of Leura and leave time for a casual lunch (own expense) Then its off to Featherdale to meet our unique animals, we can feed kangaroos and take a photo with a cuddly koala, meet a wombat and admire our colourful cheeky birds
