Yerevan City Tour - Best of Yerevan

Today we explore Yerevan, the "pink pearl" of Armenia, a beautiful European city built with purple and pink tufa stone. Yerevan, as one of the the oldest continuously inhabited cities of the world, has a history that dates back 2800 years. At the same time it's a modern city with cozy cafes, shady parks, trendy restaurants, dancing fountains. We'll have a panoramic tour of the city starting with the "Victory" Park offering a bird's eye view of the city. We also visit the Cascade, a colossal white stairwell built on a Yerevan hillside with water fountains running down the sides. Later we will tour the City Bazaar. A cultural showcase not to be missed is Matenadaran, one of the world's largest and oldest treasuries of ancient manuscripts. Marvel at the illuminated pages of some of those manuscripts within their glass cases. We will also visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum. Tour of the legendary Ararat Brandy Factory still producing the best brandy in the world.
