The Guarani nation was originally one of the largest in South America, and the group that we'll visit, called Mbya, is one of those that maintains its traditions the most, since they didn't accept being catechized/converted. Come into contact with ancestral people, the Guaranies of the Fortin Mborore community and their ancient culture. You'll learn of their natural medicine, rites, songs & dances, their crafts & worldview in an unforgettable experience. Along this ancient ethnic group, let's discover the spirit of the trees, a walk where you'll learn through the interior of the jungle, guided by a specialist pure guaraní guide (whom I'm going to translate), transmitting his knowledge, which he acquired from the elderly and after studying for years. We'll venture on a scenic route crossing a small stream marking the boundary between the city of Puerto Iguazú and the Mborore community, whom we'll see in their houses nestled in the jungle, living their lives. The following itinerary could be customized:
·Arriving at the community, we'll be received and welcome by our expert guaraní guide who is going to take us through the trails in the jungle ·The experience is made up of 6 stages: -First, we'll learn about the crops that are still handled in an artisanal way. -In the 2nd stage, we'll see some traps with which they used to hunt for food. -In the 3rd stage, we'll have the opportunity to try some of their foods as well as learn how to prepare them. -The 4th stage is where we'll learn about their ancestral medicine with the plants of the jungle and the relationship of nature with their worldview. ·We'll also be able to participate of a ritual of balancing our energies that'll allow us to feel more in contact with the environment. -The 5th stage is an offering of their music and dances in gratitude for our visit, where an authentic Mbya Guarani choir will dedicate their sacred songs to us. -In the 6th stage, you'll have the opportunity to learn about their crafts. -At last, we'll drive back to hotel.
