The most beautiful colonial architecture town in the region
Founded in 1541, first capital of the Antioquia Province, this beautiful colonial town is well worth a visit. Enjoy a stroll through its cobblestoned streets and explore its churches, homes and hotels. Besides this well preserved historic beauty, there's a great attraction just 10 minutes outside the city limits, the Puente de Occidente (West Hanging Bridge).
This tour starts with a 9:30 am suggested pick-up time at your hotel in Medellín. We will then drive west and go through the Western Tunnel, currently the longest tunnel within the Americas. After about an hour drive, we will visit the Western Bridge and learn about its interesting history. Following that we will drive to Santafé de Antioquia and begin our historic center pueblo stroll. At you convenience, we can have lunch after or before exploring this magnificent historic town.
If you're interested in adding the horse-back ride, please inform me in advance so we can leave a little earlier and plan the day accordingly.

Fabulous to walk around the town and see Colonial architecture. My son also loved the bridges which Andres included. He tailor makes his tours to suit and does an excellent job at it.
